From welcoming passengers to guiding teams behind the scenes, they bring passion, skill, and energy to every role. Meet the remarkable women whose dedication makes every flight, every experience, and every day truly unforgettable.

Vennilah | People and Culture Coordinator

Vennilah balances recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and continuous process improvements to ensure Harbour Air's People and Culture operations are both efficient and deeply supportive. She thrives on building systems that serve employees while keeping the human connection at the forefront. "The most rewarding part of my role is building trust and meaningful connections through everyday interactions," she says. "Collaborating with passionate people who care about aviation and safety makes every day fulfilling." 

For Vennilah, a career in aviation felt like a natural choice. "I feel like I grew up within aviation, so it was a no-brainer. I have always loved the beauty of aviation, and Harbour Air's seaplanes are such a signature part of Vancouver and BC's identity. Being able to contribute to a local and impactful organization, even in an office role, feels incredibly meaningful." Mentorship has helped shape her journey, and she encourages young women entering aviation to pursue what excites them. "Do what you love, and love what you do. Even if something feels intimidating, take that stride forward."

Naina | People and Culture Advisor

As a People and Culture Advisor, Naina works closely with leaders and employees across the organization to ensure safety, compliance, and respect remain aligned with operational needs. A key part of her role is coaching managers on best practices that promote accountability, trust, and consistent workplace standards, because she believes strong teams are built through open communication and addressing challenges early. What she enjoys most is helping guide leaders and employees through complex or sensitive situations. In a fast paced, safety focused industry like aviation, creating clarity and fairness is essential, and Naina is motivated every day by contributing to a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and confident in their roles.

Her advice to young women pursuing a career in aviation is to focus on gaining meaningful experience, stay curious, and embrace every opportunity to learn. Naina is grateful for the mentors who have supported her journey, including Doris, former Vice President, and Melvin Cardoza, Head of People and Culture. For her, the most rewarding part of the job is meeting people from all walks of life and helping them succeed. 

Kasthure | Customer Contact Centre Agent

Kasthure begins her day early, often at 5 a.m., with a cup of tea and a mindful moment before stepping into a fast paced world of calls, emails, and bookings. She supports Harbour Air Club members and passengers with everything from commuter passes and gift cards to tour coordination and travel changes. “I love knowing that I can make someone’s day a little easier and more enjoyable,” she says. Her favorite part of the job is the energy of aviation and being part of a team that works with purpose. 

With experience across domestic and international airlines, and flight training toward becoming a pilot, Kasthure has explored aviation from multiple perspectives. Sharing that journey with her family is one of her proudest moments. She credits mentorship, including guidance from Suzanne Bremski, for helping her grow and understand the bigger picture of operations. 

Kasthure encourages young women to believe in themselves and their dreams. “Stay focused, lead with your heart, and do everything with love,” she says. Every day she gets to make a meaningful difference, whether assisting a passenger, supporting a teammate, or keeping operations running smoothly, and that is what makes her career in aviation so fulfilling.  

Greezy | Supplier Support Lead 

Greezy's role is all about connection. She works closely with Harbour Air’s tour partners to ensure bookings, operations, and guest experiences run smoothly. From answering questions to coordinating with internal teams, she's a trusted point of contact who keeps partnerships strong and informed. “My favourite part of the job is building strong relationships with our partners,” Greezy says. “Being someone they can rely on and helping them feel confident when working with Harbour Air is incredibly rewarding.”  

Drawn to aviation for its pace and complexity, Greezy values being part of an organization that prioritizes safety, communication, and reliability. She encourages young women to stay confident and curious. “Aviation offers a place for women in every part of the industry. Do not be afraid to take on new challenges. Your perspective makes the industry stronger.”
