Powell River

Seasonal service has now resumed. Fly directly between Powell River and downtown Vancouver with scheduled service flights twice daily landing on the stunning Powell Lake. Located on the Northern Sunshine Coast, Powell River is an adventurer’s paradise home to endless outdoor explorations, historic culture and eclectic cafes and restaurants.

The perfect stop to embrace coastal bliss and be one with nature, it also acts as a terrific gateway to explore other Northern Coastal towns such as Lund and Saltery Bay, and some of the nearby Discovery Islands, including Savary, Quadra, and Cortes.

Our Powell River dock is located on Powell Lake, adjacent to The Shinglemill Pub and Bistro, an approximately 10-minute drive to the city-centre of Powell River. Please check-in at the reception of the Shinglemill Pub and Bistro.

About Powell River

Powell River is a community of about 14,000 people located on the northern Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, just south of t̓išosəm, the main village of the Tla’amin Nation. The Tla’amin people, who speak the ʔayʔajuθəm language, have traditional territory covering over 400 square kilometers in the surrounding area.
