We Love Locals - 15lb Free Luggage
Pre-Book & Pack More!
 

Are you heading off on vacation and need more baggage so you're not leaving anything behind? When you book with Harbour Air for your next getaway, we will waive baggage fees for 15 lbs of baggage above what is included in the fare! Valid for flights March 21, 2025  - June 30, 2025 on all booking tiers. 
 

This promotion is open to all local residents of Nanaimo, Sechelt & Salt Spring Island for flights arriving and departing at Richmond (YVR South).  See routes below.

 

Guests can pre-book the additional 15lbs by emailing the Customer Contact Centre at reservations@harbourair.com. If pre-booked, the additional baggage will be included in the baggage allowance by fare. If guests do not pre-book, note the fees for up to an additional 15 lbs will be waived, but the luggage will be considered outside the baggage* allowance by tier. Guests are also invited to drop baggage off the day before. We are happy to store baggage for up to 48 hours.

 

*  While we always strive to accommodate luggage on the same flight as our guests, baggage exceeding the included allowance may occasionally travel on the next available service due to weight restrictions.

Terms & Conditions

  • Waived baggage fees of 15lbs per booking tier.
  • If booked in advance by contacting the Customer Contact Centre, 15 lbs waived baggage will be included in the baggage allowance of the tier.
  • If not booked in advance, 15 lbs waived baggage will still be honoured but will be considered outside the baggage allowance (i.e. standby).
  • Baggage overage above the 15 lb additional allowance will be subject to the overage fee of $3/lb.
  • Valid for local residents of Nanaimo, Salt Spring Island and Sechelt only. Proof of local residency via government issued ID will be required at check-in.
  • Valid only on flights departing March 21, 2025  - June 30, 2025 between Salt Spring Island and Richmond (YVR South), Nanaimo and Richmond (YVR South), and Sechelt and Richmond (YVR South).
